So, I came home from work today to find that Daddy took the girls to the public pool by himself. I don't know that I would have attempted that activity on my own, but he often surprises me. It never fails that right when you get into the pool, one of the girls has to go to the potty. There have been many times when he has texted me pictures of him and the girls at a chinese food buffet. He knows I won't go to a buffet (for many reasons), so he takes the girls as his date! I wonder if he is using the girls to pick up chicks?
It's hard to tell yet if the pool time made any huge difference in Lucianna's mobility today, (it couldn't hurt). She appeared to get around fairly well this evening, she only has trouble sitting on the floor and still walks with a duck waddle. The only time she really wanted to be carried today was up and down the steps, which is great! We're going to try to visit the pool once a week this summer.
Provided she remains fairly mobile, we plan to go to visit the grandparents in NY next weekend. Some beach time and Nonna/Papa time is just what the doctor ordered.
